The RICS Dispute Resolution Service is determined to represent value for money for all participants in the adjudication process. Our prices remain the most competitative in the Queensland adjudication market. We offer a small claim adjudication route for claims under $6,500 so as that all may receive the benefit of this rapid dispute resolution process.

It should be noted that the RICS Dispute Resolution Service do not charge an application fee for adjudication in Queensland*.

Please read on for our fee structure. Please note that these fees are effective from July 17th, 2007 and that all fees quoted below exclude GST (10%) unless otherwise stated.

* However, the fixed-fee adjudication package requires an up front payment, but includes all the necessary adjudication functions required - the appointment of an adjudicator, the adjudicators fee, and the adjudication certificate if required.

• RICS DRS does not charge for application fees for non-fixed fee Adjudication, or disputes involving payment claims exceeding $40,000.00 including GST.

Adjudicator Fees:

• Dependent on adjudicator (experience and relevant skills: $160 to $325 per hour - excluding GST)

Adjudication Certificate:

• Flat fee: $200.00 (excluding GST, $220.00 including GST)

Disbursements: (eg. copy and fax costs of documents)

• Disbursements are charged at cost price.

The RICS DRS has designed a valuable package for those who require absolute certainty in regards to adjudication and Authorised Nominating Authority fees. The fixed fee adjudication package includes the following:

• Flat up front fee. This fee is applicable upon application
• Flat fee includes certification, and adjudicator fees
• This fee is applicable upon receipt of adjudication application
• Provision for disbursements up to the value of $50.00 (excluding GST).
